Design with our Cover-Designer

Save yourself time when designing your cover! With our Cover-Designer, you can design your cover online and directly in the configurator. The size of your cover will be calculated automatically based on your book configuration. For all those who prefer the simplest way for cover design.

Design the cover by yourself

Please note that your cover is constructed according to the product.
Hard and soft cover: The cover is constructed as a double page.
Flatbook open: The cover consists of two individual pages (front and back).
Staple binding and Wiro: The cover consists of four individual pages.

There are two approaches for booklet binding and Wiro.

  • The Cover-PDF is uploaded separately (four individual pages).
  • Only one Content-PDF is uploaded. The first two and last two content pages are used as cover.

Design the cover acording to the PDF sample file

Always create the cover according to the specifications of the PDF sample file, which you can download.

  1. Create a document in your layout program with the same size as specified in the PDF size.
  2. Place the pattern file in your layout program (100% size).
  3. Design your cover. Make sure that you place images and design objects up to the trim (outer edge of the orange area).
  4. Remove the design template from the document before creating the print PDF from the document.
